First Commercial Installation Validates Technology

In 2024, Ezone Energy installed its patented power quality technology on three main electrical systems aboard the CoolCo-owned Kool Frost. The installation marked our transition from prototype testing to commercial validation.

The results showed significant improvements for both Power Factor, THD and fuel consumption.

The project demonstrated that our passive technology could be installed into existing maritime electrical systems during scheduled maintenance, with no operational disruption to the vessel.

We're grateful to Actemium for fast-tracking production to meet the installation schedule in China, to MHTech for engineering support and installation supervision, and to CoolCo for their partnership in validating this technology.

Following this success, CoolCo proceeded with a second installation on their sister vessel Kool Blizzard.
